Sometimes short stories uncovering fraud are better then long drawn out stories. If you can prove it in a few words, then do it. Harry John Roland is an icon. He showed up almost every day at ground zero, for 6 years, with a plastic 1 gallon money jug tied around his neck, his pictures, and his familiar refrain; “History, Don’t let it be a Mystery.” “History, Don’t let it be a Mystery.” Harry is well known for his catch phrases which can be heard echoing throughout the WTC complex, especially “History – don’t let it be a mystery”, and “don’t say two – ’cause that’s not true!” Yet Harry never really crossed the line into conspiracy, claiming to have worked at the world trade center (took that day off for the first day of school for the kid, like everyone else at WTC that day). And also losing a nephew who wasn’t as fortunate as old Harry!

I admit that Harry squeezed a few good lunches from me back in August of 2004 and a nice donation, I think it was 50 bucks. We spent 2-3 afternoons together at ground zero. But for now lets take a brief look at Harry Rolands claims, and see if we can’t make this all cut and dried, black and white.

Notice his nephews name is Tim Ward, victim at the world trade center. Tim Ward was sadly told to go back to his desk in the South Tower. He even points to this nephew, Tim Ward. Who he said went back to his desk. How he knows all of this is anyone’s guess. Perhaps it was a phone call. Or perhaps it was because that is what was in Harry Rolands script.

I checked the CNN Memorial and two (2) Wards are listed:Timothy Ray Ward who’s picture is curiously absent. And also claimed to be Harry Rolands nephew by Harry Roland.

And Stephen Gordon Wards CNN memorial, who doesn’t have a picture and obviously isn’t the guy Harry is pointing at because it is the wrong name.

In the 911 Victims Compensation Fund, there are 5 Wards listed on lines 4259-4263:

Ward, Cecil
Ward, Joseph
Ward, Stephen
Ward, Stephen
Ward, Timothy

So there is only one Tim Ward. Let me introduce you to Tim Ward now. Meet Tim Ward, already determined to be a fake victim through our teams earlier diligent research. This seems to be an open and shut issue, black and white, so to speak…

Tim Ward – Alleged passenger on Flight 175

Harry’s nephew was black. Tim Ward, the only Tim Ward allegedly killed on 911, was white. And to make things worse, Tim Ward was an alleged passenger on Flight 175, not a worker in the Towers as Harry Roland claims. And Tim Ward already had enough problems of his own without another 911 paid actor, that can’t even remember his victim, or get his lines straight. And how ironic is it, that a white Tim Ward flew into a black Tim Ward on 9/11? I wonder if the white Tim Ward on Flight 175 flew into the black Tim Ward in the South Tower? You know what they say about two different colored people by the same name, occupying the same place and victim status at the same time, right? Things get dustified….

Tim Wards picture, from the Web Archive of the CNN Memorial shows that the pictures Exif/IPTC data as 1/11/2000 as thepicture being taken day, or the date of the last edit. A year and 9 months before 9/11. The official story and fairy tale fell long ago. But with the release of this research, the fairy tale of the passengers and mock victims of 9/11 is also laid to rest. Perhaps the planners prepared this victim ahead of time and forgot he was supposed to be black, or forgot that someone else already was assigned this victim. Talk about economy of actors! This takes the cake!

Poor Tim Ward, seems like nothing can go his way on or after 911. So far Tim Ward is the only victim on 911 we have proven to be a fraud, twice. And also, down goes another actor, Harry John Roland as well.

Harry John Roland, now more then likely back to using his regular name, rather then his 911 stage name, is more then likely sipping Margarita’s in the Hamptons, or probably somewhere in Cancun. Or perhaps still pimping his lies at ground zero, or perhaps a combination of all the above.

Hats off to Harry John Roland! He gets our 911 Emmy of the year award for best continual acting performance of 9/11. Tim Ward gets the award for the most used victim so far in 9/11!

Somewhere, maybe in a fine white cushy chair somewhere, drinking a fine Burgandy, Carolyn Beug (Yet another fake 911 victim) has got to be rolling her eyes and wondering how so many under-choreographed people fell through the cracks. Or not. But I know that Harry will be looking and looking to see if his secret is out yet, while sipping his life away in Margaritaville. So Harry Roland, when you read this, hats off to ya you son of a bitch! Great acting job! You owe me a few lunches at the Deli and 50 bucks!! And you also have a date with truth & justice!

NORTH TOWER – WTC 1

LANDMARK EDUCATION CORPORATION

You might be surprised to discover that floor 7 of the North World Trade Center went completely unoccupied throughout the entire life of the building and was only rented out for the first time on 11/23/1998.

Floor 7 was the floor directly above the lobby of each tower, in essence, it is floor #1, from street level. Floor 7 was prime real estate, as the rent was more expensive in the towers as you went higher. The prestige value. Thus floor 7 was far cheaper then floor 89.

For 26 years, floor 7 of the North Tower was totally vacant. From 1972 until 1998. This also means that during the 1993 bombing that this floor was completely unoccupied. Larry will touch on this in a follow up post as he spent dozens and dozens of hours scouring these sheets with regards to the 1993 bombing vs. occupancy, and it is a top notch story all in it’s own.

This long streak of unoccupancy for floor 7 would come to a halt on November 23, 1998, when LANDMARK EDUCATION CORPORATION moved into suite #118. We were told through various sources that the world trade center had occupancy issues through the years, and suppose this highlights that issue. In summary floor #7 was unoccupied for 26 years, and not a single time in those 26 years did one of the elevators crack open on that floor, except for maintenance. Imagine the very first floor above the lobby as you walk into those magnificent buildings having cold bare unfinished floors for 26 years. No lights, no activity whatsoever. A dead floor.

BANK OF AMERICA CORP

Sometimes when things are just so bad, a billionaire needs to step in to save the day. Word must have finally reached David Rockefeller in 1993 that his precious Twins were repulsive real estate that apparently no one wanted, so he had his Bank, BANK OF AMERICA CORP. move into floors 9 & 10 of the North Tower in October and December of 1993, some 21 years after the WTC completion ceremonies. (lines 4 & 5 on the spreadsheet)

Floor 9, Suite 901 – 10/8/1993
Floor 10, Suite 1001 – 12/5/1993

**The World Trade Center bombing happened on February 26, 1993 for your information.

So lets recap here for a moment. The North Tower (think antenna, as it is the tower with the antenna) The North Tower, floor 7, went totally unoccupied until November of 1998, 26 years of vacancy.

While floors 9-10 went totally unoccupied until late 1993, some 21 years of total vacancy, this bad spell of hard WTC luck would finally be broken by a merciful billionaire who we are told moved some of his Bank of America offices into the world trade center.

This also means that for 28 years the elevators never once stopped at floor 7 of the world trade center, and the same goes for floors 9 and 10 until late 1993. These would have been closed floors and the elevators couldn’t have even stopped, being electronically locked out. If I don’t have your attention by now, it only gets better, just give it a little more time.

Floor 11 of the North Tower went totally unoccupied until 1993, when David Rockefeller would step in again to save the day and pave the way by moving yet more Bank of America offices into the north tower. (line 11 of the WTC FOIA occupancy sheet) Please see lines 6 through 15 to see the other corporations we are told that followed David Rockefeller’s charge. 8 other companies total we are told.

We are also starting to see another pattern here, something which Larry researched and made known and will also be following up this post with. So far, during the 1993 bombing, floors 7-9-10 & 11 are unoccupied.

ALL ABOARD! Next stop – Floor 12

The elevators never stopped at floor 12 of the north tower until David Rockefeller stepped in yet again to save the day on 9/13/1993, again, after the 1993 bombing. Bank of America would be the only alleged occupant of floor 12 during the entire life of the structure. Floor 12 went totally unoccupied for 21 years. (Reference line 16 of Occupancy FOIA)

So now, at the time of the 1993 bombing, floors 7-9-10-11 & 12 were totally unoccupied. Are you wondering how long this pattern will continue?

Nobody likes being on floor 13, the unlucky floor. And it wasn’t any different at world trade north tower 1. David Rockefeller would step in to save the day yet again by moving more of his corporate offices into wtc 1, floor 13, on 4/8/1994.

And also into floor 14 on 10/7/1994. Both floors 13 and 14 went totally unoccupied and vacant until 4/8/1994, the elevators never stopping there until then, we are to presume. Also after the 1993 bombing. So far we have floors 7-9-10-11-12-13 & 14 totally unoccupied at the time of the 1993 wtc bombing. And for the better part of the life of the towers as well.

SANDLER ONEILL & PARTNERS

Now that I whet your appetite, and set Larry up for his following story, lets press the elevator and go back down to the lobby and stroll on over to the South Tower and take a ride up to the top this time, stopping at floors 104, where we were told AON Corp and Sandler Oneill & Partners had offices. Please scroll down to line 906 and 907 on the Occupancy FOIA.

Whats missing from this FOIA occupancy sheet? If your looking at lines 906 and 907, you should be seeing the name Sandler Oneill & Partners. Yet they are not listed. We requested in this FOIA all occupants of the world trade center, from the time they went up to the time they became private, 6 weeks prior to 9/11. Sandler Oneill & Partners are strangely absent from the list of occupants that had leases. They never had a lease. Go ahead and scour those sheets, feel free, you will not find them. The problem this raises immediately is how did 66 of their 171 employee’s perish in a buiding that they never held a lease at during the entire life of the building?

Larry discovered this. And this is the most singular significant discovery in this FOIA. A Corporation alleged to have lost 66 of its 171 employee’s that never had a lease with the NYPANJ.

The average payout from the victims compensation fund (VCF) was roughly 2 million dollars. This means at minimum Sandler Oneill and Partners “employee’s” received roughly 132 million dollars from the government VCF.

And probably a whole lot more because the average payout of the VCF was 2 million. This means some were much higher, and some much lower. The higher paid executives received more compensation the way the fund was set up. The more they made, the more their family, in theory would receive.

The strangeness certainly doesn’t end there for floor 104, WTC 1. We find on the Occupancy FOIA a corporation which isn’t listed in most, if any of the other official lists made public through the years, at wiki and such.

SHEARSON/LEHMAN BROS

SHEARSON/LEHMAN BROS – Ring a bell anyone?

In 1984, American Express acquired the investment banking and trading firm, Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, and added it to the Shearson family, creating Shearson Lehman/American Express.
Lehman Brothers Kuhn Loeb, which itself was the merger of Lehman Brothers and Kuhn Loeb in 1977 was led by Pete Peterson, a former United States Secretary of Commerce and future founder of the Blackstone Group.

Many people are not aware that there was other emergency relief funds set up by the government after 911 besides the victims compensation fund. (VCF) The victim compensation fund was 7 billion dollars. There was also another much larger fund called the Business Compensation Fund. (BCF)

There is probably good reason that you weren’t aware of this fund. And that’s because of its sheer size. 38.4 billion dollars was set aside for WTC corporations by government and insurance companies. This makes the total combined worth of both government funds to be roughly 46 billion dollars. The largest recipients of these funds were of course, investment Bankers. It was a pre-cursor to the leave no bank behind act Bush and Obama would later set up. And went to many of the same corporations.

The mystery here with Shearson/Lehman of course is why they are not listed on most, or possibly any of the public lists that were peddled to us after 9/11 yet listed on this Occupancy FOIA?

According the Occupancy FOIA, AON Corp occupied 8 floors total in WTC 2, South Tower. 98-105 (please reference lines 895 to 909 of the occupancy FOIA) AON shared only floors 101 – 105 with Shearson/Lehman, with Shearson/Lehman alleged to have also occupied floor 106 by itself.

Now for another jaw dropping eye opener; Lets dissect this Occupancy FOIA a different way now. Lets look at some of the high upper floors and see when the first time this prime NY office space was leased;

Occupancy Issues:

What this shows us is something far different then we were told and sold. We have been told through various sources that their were occupancy issues with the twins and that they also had their highest occupancy at the time of the attacks, which we are told was at 95% occupancy.

We were never informed that the most prime real estate in New York City, in both Towers, never leased until a year or two before 9/11, in most cases. Why? Because it would have been extremely suspicious to people, especially since all of the controversy the PTB knew would be after 9/11.

Had they told us this, we would have started investigating the companies at the WTC and questioning their alleged employee losses a lot sooner then 9 years out.

LAST MINUTE LEASING & STACKING OF WTC DECK

How is it possible, especially considering what happened with the world trade center, to see that all of the upper floors were leased only a few years prior to 9/11? That’s an incredible expanse of time, 26 years in most case, some 28 years, where for instance floor 88 had bare floors and no tenants until 1999. The elevators in the north tower never stopped at floor 88 until mid 1999. Might I ask at this time how it is possible that any lights were ever on on floor 88 before 1999? The entire tops of these towers should have been darkened at night between the years 1972 and 1997-98.

There were no tenants. No tenants means no lights and dark floors, both during the day and at night, as lights in the WTC were visible in both daytime and night.

This has all the appearances that the companies were moved into the towers at the very end for the very purpose of 9/11. Either in reality or on paper. These towers were nearly unoccupied for their entire life, and then miraculously found a 95% occupancy heart beat on in 2001, just prior to 9/11.

PARADIGM CHANGER:

This is one of those paradigm changers. What you know of the world trade center is a legend that was created and manufactured for your consumption. Any of the documentaries that were created prior to 9/11, about the world trade center, were created by the “builders” of the WTC, and made to create and sell a manufactured legend. The legend was that there were 50,000 people who worked in these towers by and large, for the better part of their life, as they were designed and built for. AS you have just seen, this isn’t even remotely close to being true.

Between Dave Cole, (kawika) Larry McWilliams and myself, we have spent hundreds of hours studying this occupancy FOIA request over the last 6 months or so, and we haven’t even scratched the surface yet. We would like to request that all of you as a group take lots of time studying this so that collectively we miss nothing. This FOIA is a goldmine. It’s the gift that keeps on giving, a mine that never runs dry. We believe that we have given you an accurate overview of the material so that you will know and be able to scour the spreadsheet as we did and know how to spot things. We need all of your help.

To say that there were occupancy issues is a gross understatement. The official story seems more then just a little bit hollow.

What we requested from the Port Authority of New York New Jersey was in essence a surprise occupancy audit of the World Trade Center. What we requested; We make no claims other then these below. Another FOIA will be sent within the next few days, at which time we will then audit this list that we received against the new FOIA request for the same thing.

Mark Bingham – Exif/IPTC Data 8/30/2001! 13 Days before 9/11!

Here is a rather large blunder on the part of CNN or AP Press; Mark Binghams Exif/IPTC data shows as 8/30/2001. Some 13 days before 9/11, complete with a working bio and obituary, all carefully prepared, or in this case, not so carefully prepared some two weeks before 9/11! It is no wonder that CNN went removing so many hundreds of pictures from their CNN Memorial page, only weeks after breaking the Mike Rivero/John Wenckus story. Mark Binghams picture being one of them.

There are some major issues and screw-ups in the digital IPTC data. And it is damning. Does anyone here think that it is a coincidence that Mark Binghams picture was removed from the CNN Memorial archive, especially when we now know that the picture was prepared weeks before 911 chock full with an obituary & has this information openly available in the Exif data? The original picture of Mark Bingham showing the exif data of 8.30.01 can still be viewed at the Web Archive:

The picture being taken day, from our understanding is overwritten when the picture is edited, as in this case, with the white side bard which says Family Photo/AP Press and also the obituary which is embedded into the digital coding of the picture. For that picture being taken day to be anything before 9/11 is extremely damning, as long as the picture is like the one above, edited, with an obituary.

When someone edits the picture, the IPTC data is overwritten and the picture being taken day is changed to the day of the last edit. Since this picture is from 1993 graduation, 8.30.2001 cannot be anything other then when the picture was last edited and prepared for it’s 9/11 release. Before 9/11!

Mark Bingham was one of the “Lets Roll Hero’s”

Mark Bingham was scripted with being one of the hero’s on 9/11. For whatever reason. My own guess is that the people who were allowed to play the role of hero’s were well connected individuals. Mark Bingham is the person who allegedly made a cell phone call to his Mother from Flight 93 and told her; “This is Mark Bingham Mom, your son,. You believe me right..” [From memory - citation needed] We were told he, Todd Beamer and a few others then rushed the arab hijackers and crashed the plane.

Perhaps someone should email these people and inform them someone just took out one of their hero’s.

Mark Binghams picture & obituary made before 9/11

Notice how it says how he was killed, 13 days before 9/11? Just who is Mark Bingham anyway? We were told that he was an openly gay man. President of his fraternity. And told that he nearly missed his flight, Flight 93. We were told the plane actually had closed its door and then reopened it to allow him to board.

Yet we know now that Flight 93 never happened. That Mark Bingham never showed at the airport, nor did any of the other 246 passengers and crew. FYI – We were also informed quietly via the FBI that the Flight 93 drama never occurred. This came out in trial of one of the alleged hijackers;

Yet Mark Bingham was scripted with being one of the hero’s. Was he already dead before 9/11? Did he ever really exist? If so, is he still alive? While we have this extremely damning evidence which is even better then an actual smoking gun, it should still be noted that there is still a mystery here as to just who Mark Bingham was. Yet this answers in a very direct way, peoples questions as to what happened to the passengers. They were created fictions, and various other categories of prepared aliases.

To think that this information was hidden inside all these pictures all these years without anyone noticing. Information which effectively tells us that the pictures were frauds, and made beforehand, complete with obituary and bio!

Just to point out the high caliber proof this represents, ask yourself; Would you rather take your time showing somebody that cell phone calls cannot be made from commercial aircraft, or would you rather simply show them how the pictures of the alleged victims and victim hero’s were created before 9/11?

Mark Bingham is not in the Social Security Death Index nor is he in the Victims Compensation Fund: Why not?

Exif/IPTC Digital Data hangs them!

This leaves no doubt as to whether or not the pictures and alleged victims were carefully prepared aliases. Mark Binghams picture was in someones file and prepared and ready to use some 13 days before 9/11. Sonia Morales Puopolos Exif/IPTC digital data reads April 3rd, 2001, some 6 months or more before 9/11! And there is little doubt in my mind that this is the very reason why CNN was pulling hundreds of pictures off their CNN Memorial pages after breaking the story about Mike Rivero possibly being John Wenckus.

So apparently we struck a nerve at CNN and someone with a sharp eye went through the pictures and removed all the obvious pictures with obvious exif/IPTC digital data issues.

Imagine spending 10 Billion dollars and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of man hours on pulling off 9/11, and then to have the entire operation be proven false because someone out there took a single memorial picture and ran it through a free exif data viewer! They had us where they wanted us. Arguing about what 911 evidence is best and whats crap and keeping us hopelessly divided all along. But I think these new discoveries, by their mere preponderance, will change everything in the 9/11 landscape.

When we see his mother and stepfather giving testimony about the days events on 9/11 and their alleged son Mark Bingham, their story isn’t very believable at all.

It’s strange how some of the victims bear such strong resemblances to notable people. Could someone have taken photos of these people and tweaked them with some sort of photo morphing software?

There needs to be a real investigation into this to get to the bottom of it once and for all. Someone needs to verify that all these people really existed, and lay this thing to rest once and for all.

Whats in a Carefully Prepared Alias – Was Ari Fleischer’s picture used for Flight 11 passenger Michael Theodoridis?

This is getting more bizarre as we research the passengers themselves. Let me first state emphatically that we are not making any claims, and are only asking these disturbing questions about the passengers because we feel compelled by the evidence to do so. For those of you who have followed the Mike Rivero/John J. Wenckus look-a-like story, this might not come as the total shock it will to some. While doing research trying to figure out how many millionaires were on the 4 flights, I was looking through the passenger profiles, and their biographies and pictures, I stumbled upon John J. Wenckus, an alleged passenger from Flight 11. And as I was clicking on the next biography, had the feeling I had seen this man before or knew him in some way other than being a dead passenger. So I clicked back, and looked at the picture a little longer, before it came to me who he resembled. Mike Rivero from the internationally known website, http://www.whatreallyhappened.com.

This might not be as odd as it appears, especially when you discover that Mike Rivero, prior to his film career in Hollywood, worked at NASA developing advanced image processing tools for the Viking Missions to Mars. Mike Rivero retired from NASA after working there for 25 years according to his online bio, and at IMDB says he has over 30 years experience in visual design and production. Sure enough, John Wenckus has a darker complexion, and smiles, something which not surprisingly, Mike Rivero doesn’t often do. And the bottom of his face is a tad chubbier than that of Rivero. So, having laid the groundwork for the first 2 alleged passengers now among the living, we have found another, a 3rd alleged passenger who also appears to have escaped the near certain death grip of Muslim fundamentalists on 9/11.

There is no doubt that these two men look nearly identical. The question is whether Lawrence Ari Fleischer (born October 13, 1960) and who was the former White House Press Secretary for U.S. President George W. Bush from January, 2001 to July, 2003, and Michael Theodoridis of Boston MA, are the same person – or do they look exceedingly similar? While it is certainly possible with plastic surgery and the theft of an identity that this could happen, it is also possible that Michael Theodoridis and Ari Fleischer are simply near identical look-a-likes. And something else to consider, is in some of these cases, plastic surgery can be done to the photographs, rather than the actual people. Facial moles removed, slight changes made to the eyes and eyelids. Nose features slightly changed. Everyone here has a fairly good idea of how relatively easy this is to do for those with the skills and software. All that is needed is a little bit of imagination when looking at the pictures.

[/quote]It does appear that early on someone was trying to possibly undo a bad decision made before 9/11, and try to erase the name of Michael Theodoridis. But after 9 years now, it would be hard to track or research or find out who, although the why would be obvious.

Notice in this video, how Ari’s second cheek line comes and goes according to the stretching of his face and width of his smile. It goes from one cheek line to two cheek-lines. This short video of Ari Fleischer also has some good side shots of Ari Fleischer which are hard to come by;

More will be added tomorrow. This story was rushed due to circumstance. Remember, a carefully crafted alias can be a variety of things. We don’t know who these people are, nor do we know their past, nor does a photograph tell a whole story.

The point of this story is that we simply do not know anything about the passengers. We do not know if they boarded planes. We do not know if passengers even showed up at the airports. We do not know if a single passenger flew that day. We do not know if the passengers are alive. Or dead. We do not even know if all the passengers were real living people or creations of Identity fiction. We do not know if they used recently, or in some cases, not so recent dead peoples identities.We do not know why only 130 families of the passengers received money from the official 911 victims compensation fund. And we do not know how many of those alleged people allegedly flying on the 4 flights were carefully crafted dual identities,as it appears might be the case with John J Wenckus and Mike Rivero. I have not crossed over into any theory in this thread.

Notice the lower left of the Exif viewer, see the obit which was already written on 9/11/01. How would it even be remotely possible for a single person to be confirmed dead on the very day of 9/11? Why are there no other pictures available of this young hansome man? Why does it strongly appear by viewing the Exif data on this photograph that David H. Rice was somehow a fiction or a carefully prepared alias? Or perhaps something different altogether? This photos Exif data shows the last time this picture being taken and/or edited as that of 9/11/2001? This is rather disturbing because until now, it had appeared through our research that the only carefully prepared aliases were that of the passengers of the 4 flights, and at the Pentagon. David H. Rice and the Exif data on his photograph would now break this threshold and now show that at least one of the victims at the World Trade Center, David H. Rice, was perhaps a fiction or a carefully prepared alias.

And, with a fully formed, fully written short obituary?

My understanding of the Exif metadata is it is a digital stamp which is embedded into the actual code of the picture; It shows many things, but one of them is it shows the day the picture was taken. And this date stamp is also changed when the picture is edited on photoshop; Apparently, it overwrites the old data, and replaces it with the new data. This picture of Daniel Lewin, alleged passenger on Flight 11, shows a picture being taken day of 9.11.01. September 11th, 2001. Which means this picture was last edited, or created on September 11th, 2001. The Exif data is embedded into the digital signature of the picture itself. From my understanding, when the new Exif data is written into the photograph, the old data is overwritten.

This means that the AP Press had in their possession a picture of Daniel Lewin, and his obituary written, by midnight on 9.11.01. This presents an impossibility of course, as the sheer timing and speed with which they had Daniel Lewin’s picture and full story of his death is not simply implausible or unbelievable, it is impossible. This is proof that Daniel Lewin was in some sort of way, either a fiction or a carefully prepared alias, and that he did not die on 9/11/01 as we were told.

This story would have been plausible if the picture had a metadata stamp of 9.16.2001 and beyond. But for the digital stamp to show the last editing of this picture being done on 9/11/01 is, as they say, a proverbial smoking gun. Did Daniel Lewin really die on 9/11/2001? And is this even a picture of the real Daniel Lewin, or did Daniel Lewin only exist in the few newspaper accounts about him, created over many years?

At 9:03 a.m., on 9/11, terrorists crashed United Airlines Flight 175 into the World Trade Center’s South Tower. Four minutes later, the FDNY’s Battalion 7 Chief, his aide, and five firefighters from Ladder 15 — led by my wife’s brother — arrived in that tower’s lobby. While a FDNY City-Wide Tour Commander set up the command post there, a Deputy Chief (4 Bravo) moved from there to Tower 2’s staging area at West and Liberty Streets and the Battalion 7 Chief attempted to establish communications with the Battalion 1 Chief at the command post in the North Tower.

Battalion 7, his aide, and the five members of Ladder 15 then used a working service elevator that they had found and proceeded to the 40th floor. Their mission was to reach the fire floor, report on the situation there, and begin to direct the deployment of the additional units. This initial audio is of those firefighters, beginning at 9:07 and running through approximately 9:19 a.m. [Note: I have removed the 'open air' (the periods when no transmissions were made), extraneous transmissions, and several actual calls from within the South Tower from these audio recordings]:

Once they all reached the 40th floor, they began the ascent, with each carrying 60 to 80 pounds of gear. While climbing, they received a report of a way to those trapped above the fire floor from the “Director of Morgan Stanley” whom is believed to have actually been Morgan Stanley’s head of security. Ladder 15 also received a report of another plane (probably while monitoring other radio channels). Additional units began arriving on the 40th floor. This audio runs from approximately 9:21 to 9:35 a.m.

They encountered the injured and directed them to the elevator. The following are brief excerpts from the New York Times’ Accounts from the South Tower, beginning on page 9, as published on May 26, 2002:

Judy Wein, survivor: Gigi and Judy, along with a man she had never before met [Ed Nicholls, also of Aon, who is interviewed separately] headed into the stairs. One at a time they moved down. Judy moved quickly down the stairs, so fast that she left Gigi at times behind her, one or two flights. Gigi would yell out Judy’s name on occasion, Judy announcing the floor numbers as they went down, 60, 55, 53. It was somehwere in the 50s that they encountered the first firefighter, she said. They were moving in small packs, carrying a load of heavy equipment, which clearly slowed them down. She told them that there were many injured people on the 78th floor, please help them. And they continued up. They told her to keep going down to the 40th floor, where there was an elevator bank. Her legs were trembling by the time she got there.

She encountered two security guards and a firefighter, they told her to calm down. Not to rush. Take her time. But Judy just wanted to get out. An elevator came. Within another 10 minutes, they were outside. She was in the ambulance. The door was closed. She heard a noise. She turned to look. The south tower was coming down.

Ling Young, survivor: At the 51st floor, she met two firemen, and one of them decided to go down with her. She wasn’t aware of the fact that he had joined her until they got to the 40th floor, when he told her they could take the service elevator the rest of the way. She got out to Church Street, where she was placed in an ambulance. Moments after the ambulance pulled away to take her to a hospital, the tower she had been in fell to the ground.

Ed Nicholls, survivor: “These two guys came over. They were trying to figure out, because the fire was getting so bad. We knew we had to get out of there.” “The fire was not too far from us. We were watching it burn. It was decided between these two guys, one of them said, `Lets go back over to the other side where they came from.’ He thought that might be the best way to get down.” The other guy said “No, I don’t think so, I think there is a stairway over here. At this point it was getting very smoky.” One of those men pointed to the stairwell. [Other accounts say this man was wearing a red handkerchief] This was to be the route to safety. “And then the three of us, myself, Gigi and Judy headed toward that stairwell and started to go down the stairs.”

They continued to climb, attempted to find an elevator that terminated below the fire, and relayed to each other what they saw and who they found. More firefighters came up on their radio channel and, along with at least one NYPD Emergency Services Unit, were coming up the stairs behind them to assist. This audio runs from 9:37 a.m. to 9:50 a.m., approximately:

They reached the fire floor, witnessed the devastation, fought fires, found the way to those trapped above, and called for more units. This audio begins about 9:52 a.m:

The audio went silent at 9:59 a.m., when the South Tower collapsed.

The timing of this is as uncanny as the material itself. I think Chris Bollyn posted this only 3 days ago. And the odds are also once again implausible. For your consideration; I am sure that someone will shortly come and show us that Lady Booth has a history which can be documented through pictures. Feel free to do so. I would like to put this one to rest early, if we are able to. Until then it’s going to be fun to watch!

Question of March 5: Is Barbara Olson back from the dead? An anonymous person sent me a photo of Barbara Olson (said to have died on 9-11) side-by-side with an image of Lady Booth, the wife of Theodore Olson, former U.S. Solicitor General. There is no doubt that these two women look nearly identical. The question is whether the Barbara Olson (born Barbara Kay Bracher in Houston on December 27, 1955) is the same person as Lady Evelyn Booth (born in Louisville, Kentucky, on October 26, 1960) – or do they simply look very similar? While it is certainly possible with plastic surgery and the theft of an identity that this could happen, it is also possible that Ted simply chose a new wife that looked very much like his previous wife.

The similarity between the two wives of Ted Olson is remarkable. Is Lady Booth really Barb Olson after plastic surgery? The face on the right seems to have had cosmetic surgery.

It’s all according to taste. I think the one on the right, we will call this Barbara Olsen Steroid Style #1, is far better looking. But lets not quibble about plastic.

An Updated List of Goldman Sachs Ties to the Obama Government Including Elena Kagan

I. Introduction.
This essay shows the pervasive influence of Goldman Sachs and its units (like the Goldman-Robert Rubin-funded Hamilton Project embedded in the Brookings Institution) in the Obama government. These names are in addition to those compiled on an older such list and published here at FDL. In the future, I will combine the names here and those on the earlier article but I urge readers to look at the earlier list too (links below). Combined, this is the largest and most comprehensive list of such ties yet published.

For readability and clarity, I have NOT included many of the details and links that are found in the earlier article so as to make this one less repetitive and easier to read. So, if you want more documentation, please look at my earlier diary here at Firedoglake called “A List of Goldman Sachs People in the Obama Government: Names Attached To The Giant Squid’s Tentacles” published on April 27, 2010.

Note too that I have intentionally used the words, “Obama government” rather than “Obama administration” because some of these connections are not technically within his administration. These would include ambassadorial appointments and Supreme Court appointments (like that anticipated for Elena Kagan). This also includes lobbyists like Dick Gephardt who has multiple connections/input to Obama and to Goldman Sachs and the Hamilton Project.

In a similar vein, I use a broader definition than just Goldman Sachs (GS) because GS has funded, along with its ex-leader Robert Rubin, a right-leaning think tank called the Hamilton Project and embedded it within the Brookings Institution. Some of its activities thus also spill over into Brookings Institution projects which doubtlessly was one of the clever reasons Rubin and GS did this, along with providing their essentially neo-con/neo-liberal think tank with camouflage. This has worked beautifully for GS and Rubin as most writers–even critical ones like Matt Taibbi–seem unaware of the important doings of the Hamilton Project.

The Hamilton Project has 32 people sitting on its Advisory Council and many have ties to Goldman Sachs, Rubin and the Obama government. Of the first four Directors of the Hamilton Project, three work in the Obama administration. Meanwhile, the most recent Director of the Hamilton Project came from academia and from a position as economic adviser to the Obama administration to Hamilton in the sort of “revolving door” that Washington is famous for.

The Hamilton Project (named after Alexander Hamilton whose most famous dictum was “The People are a Great Beast”) is essentially pushing for cuts in entitlements (like social security), outsourcing American jobs, and for more NAFTA-type agreements. This is essentially the game plan for the Obama administration, not surprising since Barack Obama was the inaugural speaker at the Hamilton Project (and Joe Biden spoke there just weeks ago).

NOTE: This diary and its predecessor are the result of a lot of painstaking work. I am sure there are other Goldies out there in the Obama administration who I have missed. If so, PLEASE let me know by dropping their name in a comment below.
II. Additional Names of Goldies serving with Obama.

Enough background information, let’s reveal the Goldies with connections/jobs within the Obama government (or with “revolving door” status). For your convenience, I’ve listed the new names to the list separately and in the first section, led off by Elena Kagan because the buzz is that she is Obama’s pick to the Supreme Court.
NEW GOLDIES REVEALED (with respect to prior article):
KAGAN, ELENA.

Kagan was appointed by Obama to serve as the Solicitor General. The Solicitor General, often called the 10th Supreme Court Justice, is the person who argues the U.S. government side of cases before the court. Buzz has it that she is also Obama’s next pick to the Supreme Court, perhaps as early as this Monday.

At any rate, she’s already in the Obama government as Solicitor General. She also has ties to Goldman Sachs. From 2005 to 2008, according to USA Today and other sources, Kagan served as a member of the Research Advisory Council of the Goldman Sachs Global Markets Institute. Matt Kelley of USA Today wrote in his article, “Possible Supreme Court Pick Had Ties to Goldman Sachs” that Kagan received $10,000 from Goldman Sachs for her services in 2008, per federal disclosure forms. But since she was doing the same thing in 2005, 2006, and 2006, it would appear that she pulled in $40,000 from Goldman Sachs for what appears to be sitting in on one day sessions looking at big issues affecting the global economy.

$40,000 grand for so little time is a nice gig if you can get it (and she likely got expenses too) for so little time. It’s not a huge amount but it is enough to affect a player’s mind.
Here are some questions that Senators on the Judiciary Committee might want to ask of Kagan:

1) Can you produce all the paperwork/receipts related to your ties to Goldman Sachs?

2) Did you report the GS payments as income on your income tax returns (lots of people in the Obama administration (like Timothy Geithner) or wanting to be (like Tom Daschle) seem to have trouble filling out proper IRS forms.

3) Will you recuse yourself in any cases brought before you at the Supreme Court (if confirmed) that have any connection, no matter how remote, to Goldman Sachs or its entities?

4) As Solicitor General of the United States, have you handled (defined largely) any cases relating to Goldman Sachs or its entities?
Have you given advice on any such cases?

5) Have you had any dealings with The Hamilton Project? This includes speeches given there, conferences attended, papers published etc.
BERKOWITZ, HOWARD P.

Here is a murky connection (but an important one) between Obama and Goldman Sachs. Berkowitz serves as the Chairman, Board of Directors of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy (WINAP). It is an important Washington think tank that gives input to Obama. It was established by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) in 1985, according to Wikipedia. People affiliated with WINAP are a virtual Who’s Who of foreign policy including Henry Kissinger, Warren Christopher, Lawrence Eagleburger, and Richard Perle.

Berkowitz also is Managing Director of BlackRock and sits on the Advisory Council of the Goldman Sachs funded Hamilton Project.
BlackRock is a global investmentment management firm with over $3.35 trillion under management. There is a virtual revolving door of hiring and acquisitions between BlackRock and Goldman Sachs as reported here.

DUDLEY, WILLIAM C.
Dudley, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York web site:

became the 10th president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on January 27, 2009. In that capacity, he serves as the vice chairman and a permanent member of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the group responsible for formulating the nation’s monetary policy.

Mr. Dudley was a partner and managing director at Goldman, Sachs & Company and was the firm’s chief U.S. economist for a decade. Earlier in his career at Goldman Sachs, he had a variety of roles including a stint when he was responsible for the firm’s foreign exchange forecasts. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 1986, he was a vice president at the former Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. Mr. Dudley was an economist at the Federal Reserve Board from 1981 to 1983.

Dudley seems to have Geithner’s old job, passed from one Goldie to the next.

EFFRON, BLAIR W.
Effron is a money man. As a bundler for the 2008 Obama campaign, he raised more than $100,000. According to this web site he also was a “Mega Donor” to Obama in 2008, giving more than $28,500 though committees supporting Obama. His wife is also a major contributor, giving tens of thousands of dollars.
Effron is a founding partner of Centerview Partners LLC. Their web site indicates he has executed over $400 billion in transactions.
Effron is also on the Advisory Council of the Goldman Sachs/Robert Rubin funded Hamilton Project.

FROMAN, Michael.
Froman (born August 20, 1962) is deputy assistant to the president and deputy national security adviser for international economic affairs, a position to be held jointly at the National Security Council and the National Economic Council. His responsibilities will include serving as the White House liaison to the G7, G8 and G20 summits of economic powers.[
He's on my prior list but his name was misspelled there (as Frohman). Froman's days with Obama go back to Harvard Law School. Froman appears to be the original link between Robert Rubin/Goldman Sachs and Obama.

After Harvard, Froman had lost touch with Barack Obama until Froman heard of Obama’s Senate run. Froman volunteered at that point to help, began raising funds for the candidate, and introduced the candidate to Robert Rubin, whom Froman had followed from the Treasury Department to Citigroup [Froman served as Rubin's Chief of Staff] after the Clinton administration.[4] Before moving to the Obama administration, Froman most recently was a managing director of Citigroup’s Citi Alternative Investments Institutional Clients Group, where he was head of infrastructure and sustainable development [5]. He also served on 12-member advisory board of the Obama campaign’s transition team.[1]

this source provides new information indicating Frohman, who was Mr. Goldman Sach’s former Chief of Staff, as an “informal adviser” to Obama. They spell his name as Froman, Michael.

FUDGE, ANNE.
Obama just appointed Fudge to his budget deficit reduction committee (whose real goal, like that of the Hamilton Project, is to cut entitlements). Fudge has been the public relations craftsman for some of America’s largest corporations. She sits, according to the Washington Post, as a Trustee of the Brookings Institution within which the Hamilton Project is embedded.

GEPHARDT, RICHARD (aka “DICK”) A.
Gephardt is one of the movers and shakers in the Democratic party and served as the Democratic Majority Leader of the House from 1989 to 1995. While he doesn’t have an “official position” in the Obama administration his name was floated as a possible VP to Obama in 2008. Like so many ex-politicians, Gephardt has set up a consulting firm that has its fingers in just about every pie in the Obama government. Gephardt, for instance, advised the Obama administration, according to the New York Times, that universal health coverage could not pass in 2009 and urged Obama to “defer that goal.” That’s what the people Gephardt takes money from wanted and that’s also what Obama did.

One old friend links Mr. Gephardt’s assessment to his lucrative new career as a lobbyist. “He’s advising a lot of big corporations,” said Tom Buffenbarger, president of the machinists’ union.

Wikipedia says that:

Dick Gephardt started Gephardt Group in January 2005 and is currently its President and CEO. Gephardt Group is a multi-disciplined consulting firm focused on helping clients improve Labor Relations, develop Political and Public Policy Strategies and enhance Business Results by gaining access to new markets or partners.[15]

According to Wikipedia:

is also an active consultant for Goldman Sachs.

Gephardt also sits on the Advisory Council of the Hamilton Project funded by Robert Rubin and Goldman Sachs.

MURPHY, PHILLIP.
Obama appointed Murphy to serve as his Ambassador to Germany. In the 1990’s, Murphy, who worked for decades with Goldman Sachs, served as GS’s head of its German offices. From 1997-1999, Murphy served as President of Goldman Sachs, Asia (during the Asian economic crisis). In all, according to Wikipedia, Murphy spent 23 years at Goldman Sachs including as a Senior Director of the firm in 2003 before retiring from GS in 2006.

GRANOFF, MICHAEL D.
Granoff is a money man, and contributed lots of bucks as a “mega donor” to the Obama campaign. At least $28,500 according to Public Citizen.
Granoff is President, CEO and Founder of Pomona Capital, a venture capital group.
Granoff is also one of the 19 members of the Goldman Sachs-Robert Rubin funded Hamilton Project.

LIDDY, EDWARD MICHAEL.
Liddy was, until recently, the CEO of AIG which, during the Obama administration, was essentially taken over by the government. He served in high positions at Goldman Sachs including : Board Member (Chairman, 1990-94; Director, 2003-200. He was picked to the Goldman board by none other than Hank Paulson, former head of Goldman Sachs who was Bush’s Treasury Secretary who with Obama’s Treasury Secretary (Geithner) fashioned TARP.
Wikipedia reports

Liddy garnered national headlines in October 2008 for defending a controversial $440,000 AIG retreat for top-performing insurance salesmen at the luxury St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach, California. The retreat, which was held shortly after the U.S. government rescued AIG from insolvency with $84 billion in loans, included $200,000 for rooms, $150,000 for meals and $23,000 for the spa. In testimony before the U.S. House Oversight Committee, Liddy stated that such retreats “are standard practice in our industry.”[11] During the U.S. presidential debate on October 7, 2008, Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama mentioned the retreat and said, “The Treasury should demand that money back and those executives should be fired.”[12]

But that’s not what happened. Instead, Barack Obama as President kept Mr. Liddy on while AIG was essentially in receivership under the Obama administration.
How about this for a conflict of interest, again as reported by Wikipedia:

Liddy owns 27,129 shares in Goldman Sachs, at the time worth just over $3 million.[18] In April 2009 members of Congress called for Liddy to sell these shares, as they create a conflict of interest due to Goldman Sachs’ receipt of bailout money.[19] About two-thirds of Liddy’s holding is restricted and cannot be sold until May 31.[18]
Liddy announced on May 21, 2009 that he would resign as AIG Chairman and CEO when replacements were found, suggesting that the two roles be split.[20] Liddy was not paid for his time at AIG.[21] On August 3, 2009, Robert Benmosche was named President and CEO of AIG.[7]

NIEDERAUER, DUNCAN.
Niederauer is CEO of the New York Stock Exchange. While a private entity, it is heavily regulated by the government and has close government ties. Niederauer, for instance, is a frequent speaker at Federal Reserve events:

New York Stock Exchange Euronext CEO Duncan L. Niederauer delivered the keynote address today at the fourth annual global summit on financial literacy hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Visa Inc.

He has an extensive Goldman Sachs background:

He joined NYSE Group following a 22-year career at Goldman Sachs. He served as a Managing Director of Goldman Sachs since 1997 and was responsible for U.S. cash equities operations, including Institutional and Member Firm Client Group sales and client services for … both the New York Stock Exchange and NYSE Arca. Mr. Niederauer was previously a Partner at The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (United States) (“GS”) where he held many positions.

PERRY, RICHARD.
Perry is an Obama supporter, adviser and fund raiser. He worked for Goldman Sachs and is on the Goldman Sachs’funded, Hamilton Project’s Advisory Council. He is also CEO of Perry Capital, a hedge fund. Perry owns the full floor penthouse at 1 Sutton Place in NYC and according to the Washington Examiner is one of 15 ” fat cat Wall St. Banker” friends of Obama. These are the same “fat cats” that Obama sometimes flails out at in the press to pretend he’s a populist!

SHAFRAN, STEVEN.
Shafran served as an advisor/aide to Timothy Geithner especially on TARP. All of the advisers on that appear in a very murky fashion. And Shafran, like a lot of other TARP advisers, has extensive ties to Goldman as a executive for years. He’s especially shadowy, however. Here’s a link about him from CBS News.

THAIN, JOHN.
John Thain has served as an adviser to Timothy Geithner. Thain was President and Chief Operating Officer of Goldman Sachs from 1999 to 2003.

TYSON, LAURA D’ANDREA.
An economic adviser to President Obama. Tyson is a Hamilton Project Advisory Council Member. The Hamilton Project as noted above was founded by Bob Rubin and Goldman Sachs and has close links to Obama personally.
